Este pequeno coelhinho azul é para uma troca no Swap-bot.

De acordo com o perfil da minha parceira, ela gosta de coelhos e livros por isso fiz uma combinação dos dois: um marcador de livros... É um "anel". porquê? bem, não sei se acontece o mesmo convosco mas às vezes acontece-me a mim: não saber onde está o marcador. Com este, usam-no como se fosse um anel enquanto estão a ler... ;) colocam a parte verde e laranja (= cenoura!!!) dentro do livro para marcar a página... :)

This little blue bunny is for a swap at Swap-bot. 

According to my partner's profile, she likes rabbits and books so crafted her the combination of both: a bookmarker... It's a "ring". why? well, I don't know if it happens to you but it happens to me sometimes: not knowing where the bookmarker is. With this one, you wear it as a ring while reading... ;) you put the green and orange (= carrot!!!) part in the book to save the page... :)

Ela queria um caçador de sonhos para o carro dela mas TINHA 2 condições: a cor azul e uma lua... bem, cá está... juntei alguma purpurina azul para ficar mais com um ar de noite mágica e juntei estrelinhas...

o que é uma noite sem estrelas???? sim, eu sei... uma noite nublada... :D

This one is for blogger friend Lua Encantada (Enchanted moon). 

She wanted a dreamcatcher for her car but there were 2 MUST HAVE: the colour blue and a moon... well, here it is... I added some blue glitter so it would look more like a magical night and added little stars...

what's a night without any stars???? yeah, I know... it's a cloudy night... :D

celebrating love diorama

este diorama foi uma encomenda para prenda de casamento pela irmã da noiva. a noiva e o noivo estão representados por um ouriço cacheiro e um minion - é uma piada familiar...

eu totalmente apreciei fazer este projeto e apercebi-me que adoro criar dioramas. agora tenho algumas novas ideias em mente... :)

além dos pequenos amigurumis, usei papel de origami que comprei na Tiger store. não consegui resistir e tive que comprar. ADORO nuvens e a maior parte das coisas com o padrão de nuvens. então porque é que nunca criei uma nuvem antes?

this diorama was ordered as a wedding gift by the bride's sister. the bride and the groom are represented by the hedgehog and the minion - it's a family joke...

I totally enjoyed making this project and I realised that I love creating dioramas. now I have some new ideas in mind... :) 

besides the little amigurumis, I used origami paper I had bought at Tiger store. I couldn't resist it and had to buy it. I LOVE clouds and most stuff with cloud pattern. so, why have I never crafted a cloud before?

Betty Boop pin

Aqui está outra prenda de Natal que fiz.

Esta pessoa pediu-me uma Betty Boop há algum tempo atrás (cerca de 2 anos... ou mais!!!) e levou-me um pouco de tempo (anos... demorei anos...) a pensar em como fazê-la já que ainda não aperfeiçoei a arte de fazer pequenas bonecas de croché. Todos sabemos que a Betty Boop tem curvas e eu não queria fazer uma boneca com um ar estranho que estaria sentada algures a assustar pessoas... por isso, enquanto estava a fazer pesquisas na internet de Betty Boops, tive a ideia de fazer um alfinete de peito com o seu rosto... depois foi o problema do cabelo (encaracolado? liso? croché???) e depois os seus olhos (ela está a usar eyeliner???)... MAS depois de muito pensar e desfazer, fiquei feliz com o resultado final e a nova dona pode usá-la quando e onde quiser... Boop-Oop-a-Doop

Here is another Christmas present I made. 

This person asked me for a Betty Boop some time ago (about a couple of years... or more!!!) and it took me a few time (years... it took me years...) to think about how to craft her as I haven't mastered the art of making small crochet dolls. We all know that Betty Boop is curvy and I didn't want to make a weird looking doll that would sit around scaring people... so, while I was researching Betty Boops in the internet, I got the idea of making a pin with her face... then there was the problem of her hair (curly? straight? crochet???) and then her eyes (is she wearing eyeliner???)... BUT after a lot of thinking and frogging, I'm happy with the final result and the new owner can wear her whenever and wherever she wants... Boop-Oop-a-Doop

 Aqui está um presente de Natal que fiz este ano: uma gola.

Comprei este novelo há alguns anos atrás (2? 3? 4? tempo voa) porque ADOREI as cores mas não tinha um projeto até muiti recentemente. Foi feita para uma pessoa muito especial que adora estas cores e que as costuma usar... todas as suas cores numa peça de roupa só... sou um génio... bem... ok, a companhia que fez a lã é um génio... MAS foi minha a ideia de fazer este padrão e juntar uma pequena missanga em forma de coração. :)

Here is one of the Christmas present I crafted this year: a cowl.

I bought this skein a few years ago (2? 3? 4? time flies) because I LOVED the colours but had no project for it until very recently. It was made for a very special person who loves these colours and usually wears them... all her colours in one clothing item... I'm a genius... well... ok, the company that made the yarn is a genius... BUT it was my idea of making this pattern and adding a little heart shaped bead. :)

E aqui está o meu mais recente espanta-espíritos para a porta: o gato "Macati de Outono".

Usei de novo as cores do colar do meu post anterior: amarelo, laranja, vermelho, verde, castanho e dourado. Decidi colocar 3 tipos de guizos para que se perceba o som diferente de cada um e ADORO o resultado final...

I used the colours of the necklace from my previous post again: yellow, orange, red, green, brown and golden. I decided to put 3 types of metal bells so that one can hear each different sound and I LOVE the final result...

E cá está, o colar "Outono": as cores das folhas, os raios dourados do sol, o lume a brilhar na lareira e a casca das árvores despidas... isto é o que é esta estação para mim: calor! Eu sei, os dias estão mais pequenos e mais frios mas, normalmente, penso em cachecóis quentes e bebidas quentes e mantas e lareira e a maravilhosa sensação de entrar na minha casa quente com as maçãs de rosto frias... ;)

And here it is, the "Autumn" necklace: the colours of the leaves, the golden rays of the sun, the fire glowing in the fireplace and the bark of the naked trees... this is what this season is for me: warmth! I know, the days are getting smaller and colder but I usually think of warm scarves and warm beverages and bankets and fireplace and the wonderful feeling of getting in my warm home with cold cheeks... ;)
