Cute cat sensory necklace - Alzheimer

aqui está o resultado final do colar sensorial para a minha tia que sofre de Alzheimer.
usei diferentes tipos de materiais de modo a que ela sinta a sua textura. conseguem ver o guizo? ela reagiu cada vez que soava... foi esnmagador ver a sua reação, agarrando e sentindo-o...
antes de criar este colar, fiz alguma pesquisa sobre este tipo de "brinquedos"... é um mundo cheio de objetos interessantes que trazem alguma alegria na vida das pessoas...

here you can see the final result of the sensory necklace for my aunt who suffers from Alzheimer.
I used different type of materials so she can feel their texture. Can you see the little jingle? she reacted to it each time it sounded... it was so overwhelming seeing her reaction, grabbing and feeling it...
before creating this necklace, I made some research about this type of "toys"... it's a whole world of interesting objects that brings some joy to people's life...

Colourful black dreamcatcher

O meu projeto mais recente: um caçador de sonhos preto com cores de outono. A nova dona  gere o blog Sob o Luar dedicado ao paganismo e é por isso que tem um pentagrama no meio. As cores foram da escolha dela exceto ou dourado que foi minha... e poderão perguntar, porquê o doirado? oh, bela pergunta... é porque me faz lembrar o sol doirado no outono, a minha estação favorita... adorei fazer este projeto!

My most recent project: a black and autumnly colours dreamcatcher. The new owner is behind the blog Sob o Luar dedicated to paganism that is why there is a pentagram in the middle. The colours were her choice except the golden which was mine... and you may ask, why golden? Oh, nice question... it's because it reminds me of the golden sun in autumn, my favourite season... loved making this project!

aqui está outro caçador-de-sonhos... adorei fazê-lo, tem tantas texturas e vários tipos de brilhos suaves, daí que lhe atribuí este nome: Sonhador.
o círculo tem um diâmetro de 24cm e na totalidade 87cm...

here is another dreamcatcher... loved creating it, it has so many textures and several types of soft glimmer, and that's why I named it: Dreamy.

Adoro a combinação destas duas cores, tal como adoro castanho com rosa, laranja com verde, vermelho com dourado, azul com prateado, verde com roxo. também gostam destas combinações?

este é outro espanta-espírito e é dupla-face. qual é o lado que preferem? já vive na sua casinha para sempre... :)

Shy tiger - amigurumi

E aqui está o meu amigurumi fofinho mais recente, o Tigre Tímido... :) Ele traz amor e calor à tua vida... em breve com o seu dono - ele não tem conta de Facebook (encontrou-me via Instagram) e como já viu a foto, estou autorizada a publicar as fotos...

Caçador de sonhos Pentagrama e hera - tudo foi feito em croché, incluindo a corda verde e cru... mas não o guizo, obviamente...

Amigurumi Sun

E brilha o sol com 2 amarelos. É um amigurumi. (Gostam do meu edredon com nuvens? Adoro nuvens)

Winter waves

Aqui está: a gola "Winter waves" (ondas de inverno).

é interessante como um ponto diferente faz com que a lã pareça mais suave e quente.

eu não comprei a camisola, foi-me dada. eu podia usá-la ou deitá-la fora. em vez disso, cortei-a, usei o corpo para servir de camisola ao cão da minha mão (durou pouco: dentes e demasiado tempo livre) e estou a usar a lã das mangas para os meus projetos... não usei toda nesta gola por isso, no futuro, haverá outro projeto com ela.

Here it is: "Winter waves" cowl.

it's interesting how a different stitch makes the wool seem softer and warmer.

I didn't buy the sweater, it was given to me. I could wear it or throw it away. instead, I cut it and used the body part for my mum's dog so he could wear his own sweater (didn't last long: teeth and too much free time), and I'm using the yarn of the sleeves for my projects... I didn't use all of it in this cowl so, in the future, there will be another project with it.

Heart box

Uma caixa quadrada em croché para guardar nozes - cerca de 20 cm de lado em linha algodão preta.
Era para ser simples mas decidi acrescentar um coração em dois dos lados para rodar consoante se queira ver o coração ou não. :)

A square crochet box for walnuts - about 20cm height with black cotton thread.
It was supposed to be simple but I decided to add a heart on two sides so that you can arrange it to see the heart or not. :)

Caçador de sonhos colorido / Colourful dreamcatcher

Existe um novo caçador de sonhos. Este é cor-de-laranja tal como a nova dona queria, com uma teia colorida. No meio está uma missanga em forma de coração, do lado de fora tem umas borlas e uns guizos - podem ver nas fotos a seguir.

There is a new dreamcatcher out. This one is orange just like the new owner wanted, with a colourful web. In the middle is a heart-shaped bead, outside there are some tassels and jingle bells - you can the pictures below.

Peacock eye pendant / Pendente olho de pavão

E estou de volta para o meu projeto mais recente. É uma peça de trabalho acabado inacabado. Devem estar a pensar o que é que eu quero dizer com isto e é muito simples de explicar: eu fiz este olho de pavão em croché para ser um pendente e a dona vai terminar o projeto ao fazer o colar.

Adoro esta combinação de cores e fiquei tão feliz quando encontrei esta linha “azul verde amarelo dourado” (FiosSelva), exatamente o que eu precisava para acrescentar algo extra ao olho de pavão. Gostava que pudessem ver o pendente em pessoa… é tão bonito mas infelizmente estas fotos não mostram exatamente o brilho das cores vibrantes e o efeito dourado que eu queria que vissem… 

terão que confiar na minha palavra… E eu sou de confiança… ;)

And I’m back for my most recent project. It’s a finished unfinished piece of work. You may wonder what I mean by this and it is very simple to explain: I crocheted this peacock eye to be a pendant and the owner will finish the project by making the necklace.

I love this colour combination and was so happy when I found this “blue green yellow gold” yarn (Fios Selva), exactly what I needed to add an extra accent to the peacock eye. I wish you could see this pendant in person… it’s so beautiful but unfortunately the pictures don’t show exactly the shine of the bright colours and the golden effect which I wanted you to see… 

you must rely on my word… AND I’m trustworthy… ;)

Dark blue tie and dye dreamcatcher

 

olá... estou de volta e desta vez com um novo caçador de sonhos para um jovem adulto, Bernardo - uma encomenda de uma mãe muito orgulhosa, Lua Encantada.

É azul e branco por causa das cores da sua equipa de futebol favorita, Futebol Clube do Porto. Para um brilho extra, usei Giotto glitter glue.

Em breve este caçador de sonhos fará parte das suas viagens de carro! Ena pá, vai ver tantas coisas... :)

hi... back again and this time with a new dreamcatcher for a young adult, Bernardo - an order of a very proud mom, Lua Encantada.

It's blue and white because of the colours of his favourite football team Futebol Clube do Porto. To add an extra sparkle, I used some Giotto glitter glue.

Soon this dreamcatcher will be part of his car journeys! Oh boy, it will see so many things... :)
